Floating Watercolors.

This project had 3 complementing original watercolors. the customer wanted the watercolors to float on a white mat and then be surrounded by the same white mat allowing the detail of the watercolor paper to show.

Framed Rug.

as a family heirloom, this customer not only wanted to display the beautiful detailing and craftsmanship of this rug, but also preserve it and conserve it for years to come. sitting behind museum glass, this rug got a two mat detail with the top one being a suede to tie in the texture of the rug with the surrounding border.

Newspaper Articles.

preservation of history was important in this scenario, as we framed an 1882 article from harper’s weekly for a local museum. a single mat was chosen and 3 cut outs where created to show the article title, text and corresponding images.
